Welcome to Barber Dept., the premier barbershop in east Tucson! We are excited about your interest in joining our team. To ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process, please follow the steps below:
1. Submit Your Application
Fill out our online application form, available on this page below. Provide all necessary personal information and upload your resume.
2. Provide Social Media Profiles
Share links to your professional social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to showcase your work, style, and interaction with clients.
3. References
Submit contact information for three professional references. These should be individuals who can speak to your skills, work ethic, and experience in the industry.
4. Skills Assessment
If your application is shortlisted, we will invite you to our shop for a skills assessment. This will include demonstrating your cutting, styling, and grooming techniques on a model.
5. Interview
Following the skills assessment, you will have an interview with our management team. We will discuss your experience, career goals, and how you can contribute to Barber Dept.
6. Background Check
We conduct a standard background check to ensure a safe and trustworthy environment for our clients and staff.
7. Onboarding Session
Once accepted, you will attend an onboarding session where we will introduce you to our team, go over shop policies, and provide training on our systems and procedures.
8. Start Date
After completing the onboarding session, you will receive your start date and be ready to begin your journey with Barber Dept.
